TROFEU INTERNACIONAL CIUTAT DE BARCELONA

El Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona  is the most emblematic competition of COC (Catalonia Orienteering Club) ,  it was created when orienteering in Catalonia was just in its first stages in 1991.

 
The first TIC BCN was held at Collserola Park and later in 1999 in Montjuïc. In the following years different places of Barcelona city were chosen:  Parc de l’Oreneta,  Parc de la Ciutadella, Can Caralleu, Parc Central of Nou Barris, Montjuïc and the Barceloneta. In 2014, it came back to Parc de la Ciutadella and the first City Race Euro Tour was inaugurated.

In 2015, it reached its ninth edition, and took place in Front Marítim of Barcelona and Ciutat Vella.The winners of the elite categories were the Finnish  Elli Virta and the Norwegian Øystein Kvaal Østerbø.

In this year edition, we are preparing two races: a long distance race through the centre of the city and a middle distance race at the bottom of Collserola Mountain.

The COC (Catalonia Orienteering Club) wishes you to come to Barcelona and run the TIC with us in order you can enjoy orienteering and this wonderful city.
