• SIAC Air+ INFORMATION :  The standard SPORTident procedure remains

   

 CLEAR – CHECK – START – CONTROL(S) – FINISH 

The successful registration of the checkpoints is indicated by an optical and acoustical feedback signal emitted by the Control Stations and simultaneously the SIAC card emitting an optical and  acoustical feedback signal (this confirmation is important when multiple runners are punching the same control at the same time). 
The SIAC card becomes activated when punching the -CHECK- station and deactivated when passing the -FINISH- station or after 20 hours of last control record.
A green light every few seconds confirms the card is activated. If the card is not activated still will work as a traditional card (punching inside the hole of the control station).

• Long distance race EURO CITY RACE TOUR 6/11:  Start is 1350 meters from the competition centre (15-20 minutes walking), and finish is 1000 meters back to the competitión centre (15 minutes walking), Runners will be provided with a map to help them get to the starting point from the competition centre and back from the finish to download the times.  The routes will also be marked with coloured ribbons as usual.Maps will not be collected at the end of the race. Runners’ fair play is taken for granted.

• Middle distance race 5/11 : Crossing the big artery "Ronda de Dalt" is absolutely forbiden. There are 2 set up crossing points under it that must be used. There are some controls in gardened areas. Thank you for being careful and not damage them.

• Car Traffic: The traffic will not stop at any time. Although traffic is limited to these areas, it is very important to watch every time you cross over. Please, respect the required neutralized crossings, which will be monitored by the Organization staff and regulated with the SportIDENT system. Pedestrian crossings regulated by traffic lights must be respected too.

• First aid and ambulance. An ambulance will be located by to the competition centre ready to evacuate anyone if required. In this case, the injured runner will be transferred to the Hospital of the area.

• Traffic-Works: We are running within an urban area, and it is possible that works that do not exist at the time of printing the map, may appear at the time of the event. Similarly, the Parks and Gardens city service could change the green zone of the long race if, unexpectedly, started working on an area.

• Locker-Space: COC staff will improvise a place where bags and objects could be placed, but they will not be held responsible for any objects left there.

• Showers: At the sports venue there will be the opportunity to take a shower on Saturday as well as on Sunday.

• WC Cabinets: It will be possible to use the toilets at the sports facility.

• Refreshments: apart from public fountains existing along the circuit, a refreshment facility will be provided at the end of the race.

• Footwear: Metal studs are not recommended. Versatile/multipurpose footwear is advisable. Sand, wood, bricks, asphalt and metal plates are on the way.
